Demo / concept — not a real business. A sample salon website by Dhruvin Patel.

Case study

A quiet salon, built to show the work

Demo / concept — not a real business. This page records the brief, the audience and the goals of the Atelier Roshni sample site.

Cream and gold salon styling station used as the Atelier Roshni hero. Illustrative concept interior.

Brief

Design a salon site that feels unhurried — cream, gold and space — and let someone request a visit on WhatsApp without a long form.

Audience

People looking for a cut, colour or facial on their phone, who want to feel looked after before they walk in.

Moodboard

Wireframe

Hero, the menu, the colour reveal, a three-step booking card, a labelled Maps mock-up, then visit details and a note.

Final

The homepage carries that path. Every page is marked as a demo, uses a fictional address, lists no phone number, and sends messages to Dhruvin.

Signature moment

A liquid before-and-after slider with illustrative AI portraits, clearly labelled, and a booking card that asks two questions before opening WhatsApp.

The homepage is written as if the studio were real. The before-and-after pair shows dull, flat hair becoming a glossy caramel colour on the same person and framing; on a wide screen that reveal sits beside the booking card so the page stays balanced.

Goals

Make colour work feel tactile; shorten the back-and-forth of booking; and show how a complete Google Business Profile would look — without creating a real one. These are design aims, not results from a real salon.
